WPF fixes

WPF gets closer with work driven by bxtrx and I did contribute some fixes too. Today I've work on debugging the TreeView update which seems to happen, but no update in context. I did reduce to a small spot the code.
So the title is fixed, the splash is starting. And the work is ongoing.
